Gutters, Fascias & Soffits

Rainwater goods are the least glamorous part of a roof and the part most often neglected. That's a mistake: a blocked or sagging gutter dumps water down the wall, and a rotten fascia lets it into the roof edge where it quietly wrecks the rafter feet. Sort the gutters and you stop a lot of bigger problems before they start.

What we install and replace

• uPVC guttering — the cost-effective standard, in a range of profiles and colours, hung to the right fall so it actually drains.
• Aluminium guttering — jointless, longer-lasting and smart on period and higher-end properties, formed on site to length.
• Fascias and soffits — capping over or fully replacing rotten timber fascias, with ventilated soffits so the roof can breathe.
• Downpipes and hoppers routed to the drains, not just spilling onto the path.

The bit most people miss: ventilation

When soffits are boxed in with solid uPVC and no vents, the roof space stops breathing and condensation builds up in the loft — which people then mistake for a roof leak. We fit ventilated soffit strips or over-fascia vents as part of the job so the roof stays dry from the inside too.

Repairs and clean-outs

Not every job is a full replacement. Re-hanging a sagging run, replacing cracked sections, sealing leaking joints, or a straightforward clear-out and check — we do the small stuff as well as the full fascia-and-guttering replacements that often go alongside a re-roof.
